Buy Books Locally

Supporting local bookstores is one of the causes I will fight most passionately for until the end of my days. Local bookstores need our support!

Many local bookstores have great websites where you can order books online for delivery (anywhere in the country!) or pickup at the store. If a book you want isn’t in stock, many will order it for you and it’ll be ready in a couple of days — just as fast as Amazon.

A couple of my favorite bookstores that offer all the above online/delivery services are Unabridged Books in Chicago and Green Apple Books in San Francisco.

You can also order from Bookshop.org. They have a great website, easy ordering process, and donate a portion of their sales to local bookstores around the country.
